A Leisurely Lunch & Large-Scale Garden Railroading -On May 14, several CSC members met at Mimi‟s Restaurant for a leisurely lunch before caravanning out to view a
garden railroad and indoor H0 layout. Tthe trains are roughly 50% larger
than the old 3-rail Lionel set that some of us had as kids. The weather was absolutely perfect! The vegetation
on the railroad is beautifully manicured and at 1/3 of an acre the garden
is huge, with 16 trains running at once with trains as long
as 50 freight cars. After the viewing, some of us sat
around on the patio for awhile enjoying
the camaraderie before heading home.... Click here for more pictures.
