Membership applicant
must be a registered owner of a Corvette automobile and must have a
valid vehicle operator's license.
Membership applicant
shall be minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age (excluding spouse
or co-member of a legal age applicant)
Membership applicant
must pay a membership fee of $35 (for a single member) or $50 (for a
couple). Annual CSC dues of $45 per year will be prorated
by month throughout the first year.
New members must attend
one CSC Board of Directors meeting within 90 days of join date.
Failure do so could result in forfeiture of membership. Board
meetings are held monthly January to October and separately from the
business meeting. People joining in October or November must attend
the January or February board meeting.
Corvettes of Southern
California is a 100% membership club in the National Council of
Corvette Clubs (NCCC). NCCC is a Corvette Council that provides
member clubs with a $1,000,000 liability insurance policy for events
and activities. The cost for membership is $35 for the primary
member and $10 for the spouse for the first year. After that, the
cost is $25 for the primary member and $10 for spouse. NCCC dues
are not prorated.
New members receive a
membership package that includes: CSC By-Laws, membership card,
T-shirt, and name badge. When new member fees are received by
NCCC, the new member will receive NCCC information and subscription
to their magazine, "The Blue Bars."
CSC members receive a
monthly CSC news letter and schedule of events. |
