CSC members enjoy competition as well as monthly social events.   CSC members caravan to local destinations such as San Diego and  Big Bear for fun weekend getaways.  Twice a year, the club sponsors a weekend outing and rents an entire lodge at Cambria and Palm Springs.  These trips, which started in the early 60s, include swimming, dancing, old fashioned barbecues and good party-type fun.

Annually the membership selects organizations to sponsor.  Currently CSC donates to the Orange County Chapter of The Salvation Army and The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.  The NCM is a nonprofit keeper of the Corvette's past, present and future heritage.

Use of the Corvette insignia was approved for the club logo by Chevrolet in 1957.
